Ramakrishnan is the co founder of Avalon Group of companies. Over the past 15 years, Ramakrishnan has been involved with clients in a number of sectors including chemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and agribusiness. Focusing on business shifts across nations driven by trade regime changes, combined with domestic sector consolidation, has propelled corporates to evolve strategies to face these challenges and opportunities. Ramakrishnan has been closely involved with many of the leading corporates in these sectors in developing and implementing business strategy.

Prior to consulting, Ramakrishnan was involved in Corporate Planning at Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Excel Industries.

Ramakrishnan has completed his engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and his management degree from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
